About FCU
Creating an environment of excellence and maturity in soccer
Fredericksburg City United (FCU) was founded in 2014 by Claude Maheshe with the mission of helping young players in our community who are out of high school and college to stay active and give them an opportunity of achieving their goals. Our vision is to provide high-quality training and grooming for aspiring young footballers to mature in the game and play at a high-level. FCU is here to help our young soccer players by giving them a safe environment to continue doing what they love. FCU's first team competes in the EPSL. The club continues to target high school and ex-college players interested in showing their ability to compete at the highest level.

FCU's premier team is competing in Eastern Premier Soccer league (EPSL). FCU is the latest semi-professional men’s soccer club to join the EPSL to officially launch in the Washington DC Metro area in Spring 2021.
